Casdagli Updates Packaging for Two Cigars – halfwheel –

Two cigars from the Casdagli are now shipping with new packaging.

The company has updated its Basilica A packaging with a new box color that is a deeper red than the previous box. In addition, the cigars have a secondary band that says “A” on it to make it easier to identify individual cigars.

While the A size is best known as a long 9 1/4 x 47 vitola, the Basilica A is a 6 x 52 toro with an unfinished foot. The Kelner Boutique Factory makes the Basilica A. It uses a Dominican Cotuí wrapper over a binder from Bonao in the Dominican Republic. Fillers come from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Pennsylvania and Peru.

In addition, the Club Mareva Marvea Especial is now being sold in 24-count boxes instead of the previous 15-count boxes. The boxes have been updated to include images of the wallpaper from the walls of Cigar Club Mareva in Split, Croatia. The Club Mareva line is made in partnership with Cigar Club Mareva. The 6 x 42 Mareva Especial vitola uses a Cuban-seed Brazilian wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. It too is made at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.
