La Palina Silver Label Shipping This Week – Cigar Aficionado

La Palina Cigars is bringing back its Silver Label line for a regular-production run and adding two new sizes.

Following a positive response from customers, the company decided to expand the once limited Silver Label to a regular-production line of three sizes: Toro, measuring 6 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge ($9.99); Robusto, 5 1/2 by 50 ($8.99); and Gordo, 6 by 60 ($11.00).

Made at El Paraiso, the Plasencia’s factory in Honduras, the cigars feature a Cuban-seed Honduran wrapper, Costa Rican binder and filler from Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua.

La Palina Silver was originally released in 2019 as a limited-production cigar sold exclusively through retail members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America. It was created in response to customer demand for a stronger smoke. The result was a cigar billed by the company as the most full-bodied they have ever produced.

La Palina Silver Label ships in boxes of 20 and will be reaching retailers later this week.
