The new look, new blend, new factory Fonsecas will begin arriving at stores next week.

My Father Cigars, Inc.—which purchased the U.S. rights to the Cuban brand from Quesada last year—will begin shipping its version of Fonseca next week. The six-vitola line, formally Fonseca by My Father, is a Nicaraguan puro that uses a shade-grown corojo 99 rosado wrapper.

Like the Cuban-made Fonseca brand, the cigars will be wrapped in tissue paper with the exception of the Cedros size, which will be wrapped in cedar. Unlike the Cuban size, the My Father-made version will leave the top of the cigar uncovered, as opposed to wrapping the entire cigar in tissue paper.

The Cosacos size is also being offered in five-count tins though those are not scheduled to begin shipping next week.
