Romeo y Julieta Eternal Slated for January 2021 – halfwheel – halfwheel.com
The newest non-Cuban Romeo y Julieta will arrive next month.
That cigar is the Romeo y Julieta Eternal. According to Cigar Aficionado, it’s a 6 x 54 toro that is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos from the Plasencia family, including tobaccos from Condega, Estelí, Jalapa and Ometepe. It will retail for $15.
One interesting fact is that the cigars will be sold in boxes of 11 with one of the cigars carrying a gold band instead of the black band found on the other 10. The Romeo y Julieta Eternal will be produced at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
A representative from Altadis U.S.A., the owner of the Altadis U.S.A. in the U.S., did not reply to an email seeking confirmation of the cigar.
